UOB opened its first overseas branch in Hong Kong in 1965. Headed by of Mrs Christine Ip, CEO – Greater China, UOB Hong Kong focuses on wholesale banking business to provide comprehensive financial solutions to the corporate clients. Under Mrs Ip’s leadership and commitment, UOB Hong Kong has established the–UOB Art Academy–since 2015 with an aim to make art more accessible to the community especially those with special needs and those from less privileged backgrounds, as well as nurture local artists and promote cross-cultural dialogues through art outreach programmes, annual art competitions and art collaborations.
